Interactive Booklet Design
I’m presenting a project created in collaboration with the Centrum
Historii Zajezdnia, which involved the development of two separate yet
visually cohesive publications.
The first is a booklet featuring a cardboard model of the
iconic “Ogórek,” complemented by a narrative about the history of the
legendary Jelcz 043 bus. The second publication consists of Activity
Cards, designed as a complementary element and intended to engage
younger audiences.
You can see a sample of our collaboration below.
I began the project by developing the visual concept and defining a shared visual language that would connect both publications. I then designed the layouts, typography, and text composition, as well as created the full set of illustrations—both vector and raster. The entire project was finalized and prepared for print.
For the Activity Cards, a large number of illustrations and smaller supporting graphic elements were created. All of them were integrated into a dynamic, energetic layout that reinforces a sense of movement and play, naturally guiding users through the successive tasks.
As a freelance graphic designer and illustrator, I typically share primarily illustration-focused projects. Behind the scenes, however, many projects are developed on a much broader design scope — and these are the works I plan to gradually share over the coming months.
Thank you for watching!
